Who handles your data

Carlos Romero Rodríguez, holder of the trade name Vibra Wellness (ONAPI registration 902721), based in Punta Cana, La Altagracia province, Dominican Republic.

If a company takes over operations in the future, this notice will be updated and we'll tell you before that happens.

What we ask for, and why

Only what's needed to reach you and to make the session work. Nothing else:

• Email — to tell you when spots open, and to send your confirmation with the location.
• Phone with WhatsApp — to tell you if a session is cancelled by rain. It's the only channel that arrives in time.
• Country of residence — to know how many attendees live here and how many are visiting. It's one of the two things this pilot exists to find out.
• How you heard about us — to know which channels work and which don't.
• If you book a spot: full name (access list), emergency contact (there's water, cold and effort), and — only if you add the sauna and ice circuit — the health declaration.

Why we're allowed to

Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. And the need to fulfil the booking, if you buy a spot.

Consent for commercial news is a separate, unticked box, and it conditions nothing: you can book without accepting it.

The health declaration

We only ask for it if you add the sauna and ice circuit. If you come to the session without the contrast, we ask nothing about your health.

It's used for one thing: deciding whether you can safely get into cold water. It isn't shared with anyone, it feeds no other decision, and it isn't kept beyond the session.

Who we share it with

Nobody beyond what's essential to make this work, and nobody for commercial purposes. We never sell or trade your data.

• Notion Labs, Inc. (United States) — where our contact base lives.
• Vercel Inc. (United States) — where this website is hosted.
• The email provider we use to send your confirmation and reminders.
• Authorities, only where the law requires it.

Your data leaves the country

The providers above are in the United States, so your data is stored outside the Dominican Republic. By accepting this notice you consent to that international transfer.

We say it plainly because Law 172-13 requires you to know, and because it's true.

How long we keep it

As long as it still makes sense, and no longer:

• Waiting list: until you unsubscribe, or up to two years without opening any of our emails.
• Bookings and signed consents: as long as tax and liability rules require.
• Health declaration: deleted after the session.

What you can do about it

At any time and without explaining yourself, you can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, have us stop using it for something specific, or withdraw your consent.

Write to us and we'll do it. No forms, no process: people answer.

How we protect it

Access to the contact base is limited to whoever needs it to operate. The site is served encrypted, and the credentials connecting it to the base never reach your browser.

That said: no system is infallible. If there were ever a breach affecting you, we'd tell you.

We'll update this page and change the date above. If the change matters — who handles your data, or what for — we'll tell you before it takes effect.
